A West Midlands-based 11-18 secondary school, with a national reputation for its academic achievement, and an aspiration to be world class, approached Tek-nology Solutions to implement a web content filtering solution.
With over 1,200 pupils, the internet plays an important role in teaching and learning. The aim was to minimise risk of exposure to unsuitable content and malware infections, providing a secure environment where the focus could remain on education rather than web security issues.

This has enabled IT, over the longer-term, to build access and denial policies based on URL categories and individual or group identity.
